# Starting an Assessment

> Choose your product, risk tier and account size

Your journey starts with an assessment - a structured test of your ability to generate returns within defined risk parameters. Configure your setup, pay the fee, and start trading immediately.

## Choose Your Parameters

After navigating to the **Start Assessment** page, you'll configure three things:

    of trader.

## Product Choices

Hypernova offers three market packages. Pick the one that matches what you actually trade - there's no advantage to the broader package if you don't need the extra coverage.

    Equity, commodity, and index perpetuals - single-name equities, metals, energy, broad indices.

    Crypto + TradFi in a single account. Pick this if you trade across both, or want to flex between them based on conditions.

## Risk Tiers

Three risk tiers, all sharing the same 10% profit target and 5x leverage cap. The difference is how much drawdown room you get - and the harder tiers are gated.

    **3% DD, 6% MD.** The tightest guardrails. Best fit for measured, consistent
    traders.

    needing wider stops.

  <Card title="High Risk" icon="bolt">
    **5% DD, 8% MD.** The widest band - designed for traders with proven track
    records.

## Rules and Constraints

    Pass in a single session or spread it over months. Trade on your own

    Trade however you want. Any strategy, any frequency, any supported market.

    Copy trading, signal services, account sharing, off-the-shelf evaluation
    strategies, and other exploitative conduct are prohibited.
